As the whole family is on a VR trip at the moment, Rachel and I caved on this today. I’d read that it was surprisingly decent exercise, especially if you’re in poor lockdown shape like me.

I’m hugely impressed. The roguelite elements are all there. Traversal on the move controllers is fine but it would probably be better on PC with actual analogue sticks.

The real kicker though, is it does have a decent one more go feel to it; that alone was enough to keep me moving hard for 50 minutes, something I never thought I’d do in my current state of fitness.

It’s decent this one, imo.

638 calories according to my smart watch and Google fit. I know they’re not that accurate but I’m still pleased.

Note: I’m pretty feckin heavy at the moment so that’s why my calorie burn is so high.
