That new Valkyrie is something else. I know I want Stroll out of a Formula One seat but it would be a travesty to put him in one of these. Can’t wait for it be put into LMU.

I’ve been planning on watching more of WEC this year. First race is actually this coming Friday. So one to have on in the background I think.

This is worth a watch. Keep in mind there were six hours of this. WEC is in superb shape right now.

LeMans has started!

I’ve bitten the bullet and paid for WEC TV. It’s actually a decent deal if all you want is WEC. They have an option to just pay for lemans or lemans plus the remaining season. I went for the latter as it was just 44 quid.

Coverage seems great and no ads.

This is great. The non works Ferrari of Robert Kubica is looking like it’s in contention and he’s pushing the works Ferraris into getting little penalties for things like pit lane speeding as they try to keep up. Somehow they’re way more fuel efficient as well.

Currently it’s looking like non works Ferrari vs Porsche vs Toyota. Not exactly close right now but close enough that it could change for the slightest of reasons.

Just woken up. With 7hrs 23 to go, Kubica trails the works 51 ((Giovinazzi) in the lead by 1.8 seconds. This is lap 267. It’s so close.

Kubica is pushing hard as well. They both are. But Kubica just did a 3:27.08. This is like F1 pace sustained over a day.

Edit: scratch that. Fastest lap of the race now by Kubica. 3:26.562

Kubica now 36 seconds ahead with an hour to go and no more stops. This could be amazing. He’s never won lemans before.

He won! Amazing stint. Keep in mind his rally injury. He was in that car for the last 59 laps. 3.5 hours straight.

Nurburgring 24 red flagged because there’s no power in the pits and therefore no timing 😄

Reminds me of that first virtual lemans.
