Brave Red Bull Ring and Hockenheim are such great tracks though. š Iāve been doing Watkinās Glen (Boot) in the F3 this week, itās a pretty great track but itās quite tricky as well. There are some really weird corners, almost every bend requires some trick or knack to it, there are no ānormalā corners there.
I have been looking into which GT4 car to drive, I currently own the Audi RS and the BMW GT4. The Audi I donāt like as itās front wheel drive, but the BMW is a car I really love, itās so nicely balanced and you can slide and catch it easily.
I did some research and saw people in the forums saying the BMW was crap and the Porsche 718 Cayman way better, like night and day better. However I think those discussions were from a few seasons ago and that theyāve improved the BMW a lot since then. A lot of people are now saying the BMW is the best GT4 car. They are also constantly adjusting the performance of the GT4 cars to make them more equal so every season it improves. In terms of the Cayman vs the McLaren they are meant to be similar, but the McLaren a bit harder to drive, a bit livelier.
My plan is to race at Red Bull in the BMW and see how it goes. If I feel Iām off the pace then I might buy the Cayman.
