BritishBean I could be wrong but I could have sworn that when you used to click on a link on the forum it’d open in a new window. For a while now it’s been opening links in the same window which obviously takes you away from the site. It’s not a massive thing and I can long press and choose to open the link in a new tab in the background, but it was so much more convenient just pressing and it automatically opened in a new window. Am I dreaming or was it a conscious decision to change the action?
Gammerz If you click on a Twitter link, it opens in a new tab. However, if you click on an EG link it opens in the same tab. So yes, it does vary!
Alex It’s configured in the HTML on a per link basis with the target attribute. The default behaviour is to open in same window.
