Question about Thrustmaster wheels

After getting the Sim Racing bug with all the recent (COVID) E-Prix’s etc. I had resurrected my XB360 wheel and it has been doing surprisingly well in most games. But now i’m ready to step up to the next level. So my question is for those that have decent setups….
I’m torn between a Thrustmaster T300 or the T150 Pro. I understand the T300 wheel is the better option (wheel wise) but the T150 Pro comes with the T3PA pedals which are more superior.
I’m looking at $250 for the T150 set or $350 for the T300. What are your thoughts?

So I always thought it was just photographers that had GAS*; but no, sim racing is worse. I’ve just bit the bullet and ordered T3PA pros. I might add a CSL Elite base and wheel to that next year.

I’ve got a couple of little doodads that should allow me to use these plus the G29 on any console.

r0wie did you ever decide? Logitech have a new G923 wheel now as well, but general consensus is that while it’s decent, it’s too expensive when you can get a G29 for cheaper or a T300 for the same price.

I’m looking at upgrading to T3pa pro pedals with my g29 pedals on pc. I would probably plump for the T300 wheel. I’m trying to decide between t300 by the end of this year or wait a while and get Fanatec CSL Elite next year.

Brave If I was going to upgrade my G29 I would go for the Fanatec CSL Elite. I think if you’re up into the £350 area you might as well go a bit further. The Fanatec will last you ages and once you’re in the ecosystem you have a lot of upgrade paths. I plan to take the plunge one day but not until the G29 wears out or becomes incompatible.

Looking at the Thrustmaster, seems the T300 has higher quality pedals and better force feedback. I don’t think you can underestimate how important good pedals are. I guess it depends how much you want to spend.

Brave I think you could use GAS for gear/games/gadgets/goodies for most of us on here…. You’d be top of the list I expect though 🤣🤣

Brave I did! Ended up going with the Thrustmaster RS300 GT pack. Extra $50 but came with the T3PA peddles so well worth it. So far so good. Given that Logitech was around the same price the peddles and wheel mod-a-bility of the T300 drew me in.

I’m still undecided. I’m going to wait a few months and see. I would love the CSL elite but it’s a lot of money.
