Remember playing this briefly, combat was pretty good. Surprised it’s getting a remaster as it wasn’t as successful as it needed to be was it?
Was also originally published by EA but IP passed to the taxpayers of Rhode Island who helped fund it.

Indeed, quite the story there is around that one. IIRC I played quite a bit of it and found it pretty decent.

It was really good. Just overshadowed by some incredibly mindboggling business and political decisions.

Iirc the guy who owned it was a bit of a baseball legend and somehow that gave him free reign to make whatever he wanted. Sadly, a business and political genius he wasn’t.

Although to be fair, I think he fell foul of some bad eggs too.

I’m pretty sure I’ve got the original, still wrapped in cellophane somewhere. I think it was one of those seeing it for a stupid price times.

I liked it. It was on Steam and then taken off during the inception of Origin ala Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc.
