Tempted to have a look at Valorant, despite it being Riot. It reminds me hugely of Shadowrun. Other than that; TLoU2 is a definite (just to avoid spoilers) and 51 Worldwide Classics, which is the one I’m actually most excited for.

I’ve played Valorant and I really like it. Riot have made some smart decisions and its super slick, as you’d expect. But I think it’s probably a game that, ultimately, isn’t for us (by which I mean, we’re not going to play it exclusively for forever and a day). It’s very much Counterstrike with a tiny whiff of Overwatch, not the other way round. Abilities aren’t match winning and there’s none of the distinct differences between characters that play to different levels of ability. In short, it’s for eSports and the git gud generation. That said for the price of free, it’ll be worth dipping and having some fun and if we could get enough of us together private matches would be amazing. For me this month is pretty much 51 Worldwide Games and that’ll do me, really really looking forward to it.

Re Valorant. That’s a shame. Overwatch manages to cater for so many different ability levels almost effortlessly.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s really good and I’d absolutely urge you you to play it. But it’s definitely aiming for the hardcore crowd I’d say but that’s not always a bad thing, as long as that’s what you were expecting. I wasn’t lol. 😀😀😀😀
