Was looking for a new wireless headset to cover PS5 / XBox and TV for independent use. Ended up with the quite pricey, but in Black Friday sale, Steelseries Artis Nova Pro.

In order to get the correct compatibility you need to get the Xbox “badged” version. It’s all a bit mad but that ensures you have one XBox dedicated port at the back with it’s funky encryption-something and a separate PC/PS5 compatible one. So a little module sits by your consoles with a wire to each and it more or less just works. Can do either console via 2.4ghz channels for gaming and independently turn on or off bluetooth for just watching TV (or your phone).
Sound quality is excellent, ANC is OK - better at blocking out buzzes or whitenoise more than voices etc. Headset is comfy. The charging is a great feature. Comes with 2 battery packs and as you use one the other charges in the module thing, so just swap when needed. Mic is retractable and decent quality.
A couple of peculiarities in use. For PS5 if the module is plugged in it defaults to it and blocks the TV sound, but you can change settings on the PS5 to send sound to HDMI and easily switch manually to the headset when you use it. It also works nicely with the mute button on the controller - which I prefer and it annoyed me that the Pulse 3D didn’t. Easier than trying to find the right button on the headset. For XBox use it seems to send sound to both TV and headset whatever, so you need to mute the TV.
Recommended if you need a multi-solution, but pricey.
