Gordon I played Fable 2 after getting loads of recommendations and it was just British people farting a lot.

Alex Today at six! I’m at the point with Starfield that I don’t really want to see anything of it, prefer to discover things as I play, that said it’s a huge game so maybe not such a big deal. Will be interesting to see what else they have. Obviously Fable is heavily rumoured. The Cyberpunk expansion release and price keeps leaking so someone will need to actually announce it at some point.
DrDamn Alex Starfield also has it’s own show - which makes it easier to avoid. MS have a chance here to gain some momentum after Sony’s showing being CGI heavy for the new announcements. Greenburg being bullish and making pointed comments around all first party stuff being shown to be at least in engine footage.
Gordon I’m curious to see Starfield but fully expecting a janky bug-ridden mess. Would love to be wrong but they don’t have a great track record.
Alex For me Bethesda Game Studios has a pretty insane record - Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4. I’m very much here for whatever they’re doing. I mean Fallout 4 was probably the weakest game on that list and it was still fantastic.
Gordon Alex I never played Morrowind but I played a decent chunk of the rest and gave up on each of them due to bugs and jank. Just not for me I think.
Alex Agree with what Aoife was saying there on the EG stream, the problem with these pre-recorded shows nowadays is that they’re too sanitised and polished, they lack the random chaos of the old in-person shows.

I much prefer the new ones. Keep presenters to the minimum unless really necessary.
Brave Alex yeah it was. It’s more the fact they’ve gone in an Xbox showcase. Persona has been so entrenched in Sony that it really says something IMO
