I distinctly remember XO launch day and having to listen to The King Prawn and @JayFantana on party chat playing theirs whilst I waited…. patiently… in fact, I have some space in my work calendar between 11 and 2 when I could set it up so I have no doubt know it’ll be delivered at 2.02pm.

Gammerz Jogort I’d expect some serious compensation because the delivery date is part of purchase contract, and that would be gross product mis-description.
Gammerz If you’ve upgraded from an X1X then I think the new Xbox will feel disappointing - all you seem to get is faster loading times. However, if you’ve upgraded straight from the X1 and own a 4K TV, the console will seem a lot more impressive.
Alex I’m sure it will be pretty awesome, third party games still have cool stuff like ray tracing support, higher fps etc. All reports are that the XSX is a pretty great machine.

Jonbwfc Gordon In my experience that tends to mean ‘it’s in the nearest distribution point and we’re going to stick it on a van today’. Once it’s actually on a van their system has done the route plan for it swaps to a more specific time. Unless they’ve got in extra ‘man with van’ types to handle a spike of delivery load in which case it stays at ‘it’ll show up at some point’ until it does. I suspect the XBSX and PS5 release days may possibly be those kind of load spikes…
DrDamn Gammerz I was talking about @Gordon and his delivery. Two days off, bound not to arrive until late on the second day. I had to cancel my pre order due to catalytic converter stealing #&*!?
