I’m out of hospital now (thanks all 🙂) and slowly recovering, and I’ve had a chance to give it a go. It’s a bit of a wolf in sheep’s clothing this one. 50% of the time it is a rather relaxed adventure game with fetch quests and a lot of humour. The other 50% of the time it’s a pretty unforgiving puzzler / 3d platformer. And it is unforgiving, you die A LOT. Thankfully it’s generally due to your own lack of finger skillz and the instant respawn means there’s very much a ‘bugger, right, get it this time, come on…’ feel to it which is quite addictive.
it is a brilliant looking, very well made game but it’s not quite as cutesy as it immediately makes out.
I’d saying having actually played it though its even more of a hidden bargain to be honest. Well, well worth 20 quid of anyone’s money.
