Very quick post for now, but I’ve just completed my second workout with this and I’m really very surprised at the quality of workout I’m getting from it.
I shouldn’t be really, as Wii Fit helped me recover from a double Achilles tear, but this is really well set up to tailor itself to whatever your fitness level is and honestly, it’s a decent game-ification of getting fitter too.
I was sweating by the end but unusually for me, the end came without me really wishing for it because I was too busy trying to send attacks at the bad guys by doing squats.
Definitely recommended by me.
Now that is the total calorie burn including while my heart rate was still elevated between levels. Nintendo only gives you a calorie burn based on the “time with effort”.
I personally think the former is more accurate, because it’s about keeping that heart rate up and raising the metabolism but there will be people out there who swear by the latter.
