There was a period of time playing this where it was genuinely one of my favourite games of all time. I absolutely adored every insane moment of it. Sadly some of that shine wears off by the end, but man it’s still an incredibly good game. You don’t realise until you play it just how absolutely thrilling it is, the mad dashes through mule territory, throwing yourself off cliff edges, knowing that every single step could spell disaster. If I’d actually gotten round to doing the EG GOTY this would have been number two behind FS2020.
