So I might have just accidentally bought a new (but re-boxed) X1X for £265 and three years worth of Game Pass Ultimate for £115 (that £1 upgrade from Gold is still working - 3 years of Gold from CDKeys for £114 and £1 to upgrade it all).

I know new machines are coming next year, but Game Pass has just been too silly value wise to avoid. I can’t get both boxes next year and the X1X will hopefully tide me over until X2X (or whatever it’s called) and I’ll just get an PS5 next year. Not even got a 4K TV yet, but waiting for HDMI 2.1 OLEDs become affordable.

So anyone got any of that “time” stuff to spare?

All set-up and sorted last night, just been downloading stuff so far but all set up with Gears, FH4, Halo:MCC and a plethora of smaller titles. Game Pass is very tightly integrated into the core of the OS experience. OS is still a bit of a mess navigation wise, but the guide button menu is the simplification and clarity it needs.

The only remaining thing is to work out which of the Braves is @Brave 😄
