Just spent the afternoon absorbing this with my girls*.
Absolutely the best, most illuminating, eye opening, horizon broadening games exhibition I’ve ever seen.
It went from design processes in creating Journey, TLoU and Bloodborne; to the procedural algorithms in No Man’s Sky; through gaming controversy with an unflinching set of interviews with the likes of Simon Parkin and Rami Ismael and more, to a brilliant audio visual presentation on the vibrant online scene from cosplay YouTubers to LoL world championships (which really opened my eyes to eSports); to a great display of weird and wonderful games that are part of the game jam scene.
If you’re anywhere near Scotland it’s worth the long drive. If it goes to the V&A in London and you’re anywhere in the “Saff” - again - do make the effort. It’s brilliant.
I particularly loved ogling at the concept art notebooks for Journey, Bloodborne and Splatoon. Did you know that the Squidlings were originally rabbits until they realised they couldn’t explain why rabbits were firing ink at each other? 😃
Let me know if you can’t access this album. I’ll stick in GDrive instead.

*As well as absorbing blood after being accosted by a violent street sign that took me by suprise. I look like Inspector Dreyfuss.
