Munjahaidate Haven’t played one in years as I gave it to my lad. Having bought the Game Pass Ultimate business I feel there’s an xbox shaped hole in my life. I have a nice laptop for the PC side, is it worth getting an old bone? I’ve been looking at the S digital edition which looks quite cheap. An X looks a tad extravagant. Talk me out of it lol
DrDamn I keep thinking an X would be nice, and a new TV, but I’m holding out for next gen. Not that long to go now. Will hopefully allow me to get a TV with VRR support too. Key factor is that I don’t have the time to play the games too :(.
Munjahaidate Cool. I don’t have a 4K TV, but Monster Hunter World is enhanced on X. Do they have SSDs? Apart from that no point really. £200 extra for quick loading. Edit: stopped off on way home to avoid the headlong blind rush to Argos lol
Brave Don’t go for an X. It’s very nice, don’t get me wrong, but the next gen is not far away and tbh there’s not enough that really takes advantage of it. That said, Gamepass is nuts. If you get one, get a second hand S.
Brave Don’t get the the digital only one Ayns. It’s more money for the exact same model as an S with the Blu-ray drive ripped out. Literally, that’s what they’ve done. There are teardown videos out there that show the eject button and beepy speaker still in place.
Munjahaidate Blooming Heck trying to find a console without any games is a chore. Second hand S is not a bad shout.
SRR As others have said, don’t bother with the digital only edition. And with no 4k TV a “S” will fit your needs perfectly. Might be worth checking the Microsoft store, I think they’ve got some deals going at the moment. I think some pack in games come as codes now, so should be able to flog it and get a few quid back.
