Ni No Kuni 2 had better core gameplay than the first but the story and cut scenes that really made the first game enjoyable and no where near as good in this one. Fewer and worse quality. So not particularly recommended.

The good ol’ $1/£1 to upgrade from Gold is no more, and about a week before my current GPU expires 🙁. Was planning on stacking the 3 years of gold and waiting for the offer to appear. Family plan is hopefully going to be rolled out in the UK soon which might provide me with some options.

I think it’s only the initial £1 upgrade that they’ve stopped. When I renewed mine for another 3 years I used a normal Month code for GPU (£10.99) to upgrade the 3 years of Gold. Pretty sure this option is still available. You could only use the £1 offer for the first time.

I finally got round to trying this a week or so ago and am totally hooked. Relaxing, satisfying, funny, addictive. Strange but true, it’s great 😃

So my new fiber internet from EE came with 1 year gamepass ultimate subscription and decided to activate it today as I see Stalker 2 is on gamepass. Could never get the original game to run well on any pc I had at the time and expecting much of the same with this one no doubt but it does look bloody good so downloading just now.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Stalker 2. I think it’ll be one to try out in a few months, once it’s been thoroughly patched. There are plenty of other games to be getting on with. I bought Rise of the Golden Idol last week and still haven’t even booted it up yet!
