This enters early access on 16th of January.

At launch it will contain 20 cars and 5 tracks - Laguna Seca, Brands Hatch, Mount Panorama, and Suzuka. It will also have the free roam thing about Nürburgring, which doesn’t sound very interesting to me, but each to their own.

The track list is not that long obviously, and the car list doesn’t seem to feature any single-seaters, from what I can see. Hopefully they will expand it in the future. Here’s to hoping that it’s okay technically.

Brave

Yeah. I’m probably going to get it anyway but I’d rather see a direct successor to ACC. I’ve always preferred that structure to the gt7 /forza style of game. It’s nice driving my old mini around but it gets stale pretty quickly.

That said, the mods are where it’s going to get really interesting.

Out now on steam, I don’t think my work WiFi will let me download 100gig or so to my laptop 🤣 and my stupid 3 mobile data is capped at 12gig for roaming 😭

Leave it for now matey. Just watching a stream and the driving is looking good but there are some major functionality problems. Access to most of the cars that should be available is stuffed because it’s defaulting to offline.

And there doesn’t seem to have been any indication that online was required…

Had a wee blast there. No problems accessing content. Handling is interesting, very physical, you feel very connected to the wheels and road, but almost in an exaggerated way. It’s fun but very easy to thrash the cars around to a huge degree. Generally a bit glitchy and lacking content as you’d expect, but didn’t seem to be any way to calibrate the steering, so was always slightly steering left. Performance was fine but a few stutters here and there. First impression is generally positive so far.
