I think the McLaren boys need to work together if they want to beat Verstappen. Lots of talk that Piastri will need to try and get Norris off the line, but if they want any hope of winning the race (either of them), then they will be much better off sticking together and working to pull out a gap. Piastri has worse race management than Norris, which has been a consistent difference all year, and so if he gets ahead it will hamper their progress, especially on a track like Hungary with very high deg.

          Interestingly, Kimi Antonelli won his first feature race with Prema yesterday as well. I do wonder if Toto really is interested in Max or if he’ll go for Antonelli.

          I can’t help but see Max as someone who would totally disrupt a well oiled machine like the Mercedes team. I’d certainly have a clause in the contract insisting his toxic entourage have minimal presence inside the garage.

          I think Mercedes would provide him with a calmer environment.

          Finally announced that Sainz will join Williams.

          Strong rumor is that Sargent won’t survive the summer break, will be replaced by Antonelli.

          Expect Perez to be replaced by Riccardo as well and probably Lawson in the RB.
