So I might have accidentally paid for the extras pack which gives you early access, cars, a bit of cash and a permanent cash winnings boost (X2). Seems like MS have got making extra money off GamePass titles sorted out nicely. #ImPartOfTheProblem
Anyway, just tried the first couple of races in the intro. It feels and looks really good. Bit more lively than older titles, in a good way. Send like rumble triggers have been given a little overhaul which is nice - though I’d love better haptics here too but that’s a controller restriction (for now).
There are some nice changes. Particularly in how you level up cars themselves, unlocking upgrades and parts etc. I like this. Gives you more of an attachment to the particular cars. Races also have a practice before hand where you have a target lap and can get used to the track/car combo. You earn car xp all the time for improving and good driving - including practise - so you feel you are getting more out of it too.
It does feel a lot less dull and stuffy than Forza 7 too, without going into Forza Horizon festival overload. Looking forward to playing more later.
