It’s good enough to not refund, but I’m not 100% engaged with it. It took a few minutes to get it working. Needed to use experimental and run it in desktop (the first time I ran it) as the screen expanded beyond the real life limits of the steam deck, plus I had to log into my avalanche account. Sorted the screen thing by changing resolution and suit yo full screen.
Button layout had to be totally changed too.
I’ll give it a go on the desktop which should improve things, but it’s not a great looker on deck imo. There’s a Vaseline blur that I’ve hated ever since codemasters used it, but I can get it running at a solid 40 with responsive combat so that’s ok. Wouldn’t buy it to run on steam deck though. It’s not one of those miracle games in that regard.
I think it might be one of those games that opens up into something great, but right now it’s an “ok” start.
