It’s unbelievable how devastating their updates have been over the last couple of years. They need to take a breath and slow down imo.
I’m still extremely wary every time I see one incoming. I haven’t had one cause me zero issues for years now.
During lockdown one they caused my laptop to come on while sleeping, which made it dangerously overheat and then corrupted the wi-fi drivers which caused it to bsod every time it booted up.
The last one causes a black screen for me, on restart immediately after update if my laptop is plugged into a monitor. No key combos to switch screen work in this case either. So I’m forced to roll back and delay the update.
I’m almost certainly going to get a separate machine for work soon and I am (may the gods forgive me) likely to go for some form of Apple M1.
I’ll put up with shoddy patch rollouts for gaming and racing, but I’m tired of them causing me to miss deadlines with this crap.
