This quite fun - essentially a web version of the old ‘mastermind’ guessing game - six tries to guess a word, with the game giving you hints when you’ve guessed a right letter and position in the word.

The twist is everyone gets the same word to guess each day, so you can see how smart you are compared to everyone else playing in the world.

It loses marks for having enter on the wrong side of the keyboard but it’s a nice little game. 4 tries for me today.

    Not as tough as Mastermind because there is structure in words and also letter combination frequency (e.g. ‘E’ is the most popular letter). The guesses have to be words though, so that makes it tougher (doesn’t state this in the help). So you could probably get a good starter word from internet, or even the answer. if you wanted to cheat.

    DrDamn 4 for me too. Had a 50:50 guess on last word (1 letter choice) and got the wrong one so I could’ve got it in 3! I’m not big fan nor very good at word games.

      2nd guess for me today 🤩 probably the only time I’ll get it that quick🤣🤣

        Jogort Getting it first go is literally luck, getting it second is better 😃

          Failed today because I tried it before I’d had a cup of coffee and got the yellow and green blocks the wrong way round 😃

          2 for me. But only because there’s a nice trick for the first word of these games and that instantly gave me 3 greens and a yellow 🙂

                READY will give you the 4 most common letters. Today’s word was a ridiculously good illustration of why it works. 🙂

                  Tears is also a good one (the Y in your example isn’t as popular). However, you really need a 2 word combo that covers all the popular hits so you’ve got a good stab at guessing in 3.

                  I’ve come up with 2 super-starter-words. Gonna try them out.
